Thank you so much to all the staff at The Talbot Hotel Wexford for an amazing day at our wedding! It was all we imagined it would be! Nothing was too much for anyone, the food was amazing we got so much compliments from our guests on it, Cocktails on arrival were also another big hit with out guests, we would highly recommend going to have a chat with any of the wedding team especially Jade Beasley, Rebecca Millar or Phil! What a team they have there!

The Talbot hotel and Jade went above and beyond for my partner and I from start to finish. Every question was answered before it even needed to be asked. Everything was organized to an incredible standard. If we rang to organize something for our wedding it was no problem. If something needed to be done, it was done asap. The preparation was incredible and made so easy for us. On the day the Talbot ran like clockwork everyone knew where they were suppose to be and when. They truly made our day beautiful, elegant and outright perfection from the staff to the canapes to the meal. Everyone commented on how tasty the food was and how everything just worked so well. Jade really went above and beyond for us from start to finish. If anyone reading this is thinking about going to the Talbot for their wedding. We can't recommend it enough. Stress-free, perfection and we are so grateful to the Talbot and Jade.

From the day we visited the Talbot Hotel, we were treated with only professionalism. Rebecca was wonderful, any small or big worries were done without a problem. The wedding meal was amazing, every course was fabulous, all our guests were happy. They were never a problem with any inquiry. We were made to feel so special. I would highly recommend the Talbot Hotel to anyone.

I wasn't that interested in organising a wedding, seemed like a lot of hassle and I stumbled upon the Intimate Package in the Talbot Hotel and changed my mind and was so glad I did. From the very beginning they were helpful, attentive, approachable, friendly and easy to contact. The price of the package was amazing for everything included. They looked after everything. I didn't have to worry about anything on the day or leading up to it. Jade was absolutely brilliant and looked after us so well. She took all the stress out of the planning. The meal was top notch, people are still talking about the food to me over a month later! My grandparents got married in the same hotel 60+ years ago, so it was sentimental for me to also get married there. Wish I could do the day all over again. It was perfect :-)

Where do I start, we booked our wedding 2 years ago and the week of the wedding had to cancel due to unforseen circumstances. Rebecca could not have been as understanding and showed such compassion to us. Cancelled all our rooms and got in touch with everyone for us. She never hassle us to pick a new date so when we finally did we had our big day 2 and half weeks ago. Everything was perfect. They could not do enough for us. Rebecca, Jade and Shauna were there to meet us or be at other end of phone anytime to sort out things. They were amazing, everything was beautiful. The food was exceptional and most of all, the staff were amazing. If anyone is planning a wedding you won't get better than the Talbot Wexford. They go above and beyond and recommend all our vendors who were all amazing. We were so lucky. They looked after all our guests for 3 days. We were all there and organised our day two. It's a weekend we will never forget. Big shout-out to Rebecca, Jade and Shauna. Jade was there from morning to night on the day of the wedding and big thank you Jade, everything was first class. Thank you talbot Wexford for making our day so special.

Our wedding took place on the 12th July 2023. We must say, that the hotel wedding team took the stress off our minds completely, accommodating all the requirements, adjusting all the setting in the best way. Starting from the checking in, reception and ceremony followed by dinner and staying, every staff member was helpful and ready to solve any requests for us and our guests. Events team did a flawless job organizing all, deserve the best praises from us.

From when we booked our wedding to the day itself and even after, the Talbot went above and beyond. All the staff were amazing and Rebecca and Elaine were out of this world. I did not have to worry about one thing the day of my wedding which is exactly what you need. We met with Rebecca mulyiple times and if we wanted anything adjusted, she did exactly that and also gave great solutions to things I was unsure about. Rebecca is out of this world and fantastic at her job!! As for the day of, Elaine was on duty and all I can say is, this woman is an angel. She made everyone feel at ease and was outstanding! The reception set up was great and everyone complemented the drinks reception and the canapés. The decor in the room is beautiful! They had plenty of bar staff on so nobody was waiting long. The food was absolutely fantastic and everyone said the same! I can honestly say if you pick The Talbot, you will not be dissapointed! Everything had such great attention to detail here and I will cherish every moment for the rest of my life. Thank you to every one of the staff and I will be forever grateful!!

We couldn't have asked for a more special day in The Talbot Hotel. our wedding co-ordinator Rebecca and her team were so accommodating. They went above and beyond for us. They pulled out all the stops to ensure that both of us and all of our guests had a day to remember. Elaine & staff couldn't have been more lovely & always ensured that everything was okay during our meal and at our afters. The professionalism & care that all the staff had on the day is beyond recognition. Each member of staff that we came into contact with that day are a credit to The Talbot Hotel. We would recommend any couple to have their day in The Talbot From all the menu choices we had to the use of all The Talbots own decorations was just absolutely beautiful.

The Talbot Hotel Wexford was absolutely incredible for our wedding. From start to finish they were absolutely perfect. Rebecca & Elaine were both fantastic and every single staff member were so helpful. I couldn't get over the quality of service we received, nothing was a big ask for the Talbot. The food was incredible and everyone commented on it. I would definetely recommend the Talbot Hotel Wexford for everyone. It was such a perfect day and we loved every minute of it there. We will definitely be back to stay again.

As we live in the UK Wexford was chosen for its logistical position.. family around Ireland could drive down easily enough and not to mention that Wexford has its very own ferry terminal in Rosslare. So why the Talbot... let's just say thank God we did! The staff are incredibly friendly and so professional. They helped us every step of the way from support with local suppliers and registration to staging the room to our own brief exactly. The wedding day went smoothly and we are so grateful to the Talbot Team. The food was amazing and plentiful, which all our guests commented on. All the staff at the Talbot from front of house to kitchen, porters, housekeeping really treated us like our special day was also their very own special day... We can't thank everyone enough.

Everything from start to finish in The Talbot was amazing. Rebecca and her team went above and beyond and there wasn't anything we needed to worry about. They even helped up pick songs on the day as we couldn't make up our minds. The bridal party were given a room downstairs to get ready in which was brilliant because we weren't all crammed into the bedroom to get ready. The day went off without a hitch and everything from the champagne reception to the dinners were on point. People are still talking about the food & how nice the staff were. I would highly recommend The Talbot to anyone getting married.

I don't even know where to start with The Talbot Hotel Wexford. The staff are absolutely amazing. I had Rebecca as my wedding planner from The Talbot and she is absolutely fantastic just like all the rest. She did everything for us, all we had to do was do our food tasting and show up on the day, she was absolutely fantastic. The food is out of this world, amazing credits to the chefs. The floor staff and management are very professional and very friendly. The rooms are fantastic, very spacious with some beautiful views. I would highly recommend this hotel to any couple who wish to have an amazing stress free wedding like my two friends who got married here just weeks after my wedding bearing in mind they had no intention of getting married until they came to mine and seen how fantastic and stress free my wedding was.
The wedding packages are very good and have most of the things, you need to add extras to your day. I have so much more I can say about this amazing well kept super staff hotel..so thanks again Rebecca, Elaine, Gordon and the many other amazing staff who helped us have the best day of our lives and people still talking about it. PS everyone say the best wedding they have been, and food was top class. Thanks again everyone.

We had our wedding reception in the Talbot Hotel Wexford on the 1st of April 2022. My parents were married here in 1977 and we have had many of our family occasions in the Talbot Hotel over the years.
We booked our reception and met with our amazing Wedding Coordinator Rebecca. Throughout our planning process Rebecca was always on hand to answer any questions we had. We had to change our wedding date three times due to the pandemic but Rebecca was absolutely amazing and no request was ever to much. Our wedding was nautical themed and the Talbot is situated on Wexford's Quay with stunning sea views. It was a perfect setting for us. We were looking forward to waking up to a sea view from the bridal suite. It was incredible. We made a whole weekend of it and stayed for three nights. It was more then we could have dreamed of. Remember to bring bubble bath for the jacuzzi.
On our wedding day, we arrived to a champagne reception and walked on a red carpet. Our friends and families gathered round and cheered as we came in through the main doors. The reception area was beautifully decorated and the table in the centre was full of delicious food. Chocolate covered strawberries, mini scones, little cakes, sandwiches and glasses of prosecco. In the bar we had two musicians playing and they were entertaining our guests.
Many of my aunt's and uncles loved sitting down in the front hall and relaxing and chatting while munching on the yummies. Drinks and plates were constantly being replenished and no request was to much. My uncle Paddy, is still raving about the food on arrival to the hotel. The best cuppa he has ever had! Rebecca, even created a little area for the children so that they could take some time out and have a little rest as well as something nice to eat.
Jade, was one of the receptionists. She went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome and helped us in every way that she could. I will forever be grateful to her. Many of our guests stayed in the hotel and they mentioned how they loved the pleasant atmosphere, the kind staff, and the choices at breakfast.
In the evening when the bell rang our guests were brought to the ballroom. We waited to be called and Paul, another staff member welcomed us into the room as the new Mr and Mrs. He checked in with us throughout the weekend to make sure we had all we needed. I was overcome when I walked into the ballroom. It was beautiful. The ballroom has just been refurbished and the bathrooms too. So lavish! Eoin, one of the waiters was so sweet. We were even able to reserve and area of the bar for our day two and had dinner and drinks with some family and friends. It was the best weekend of our lives and when I am in the Talbot now it catches my breath.
Our nautical theme filled it with colour, it was classic and magical, the ribbons dangled and the fairy lights twinkled.
At our seats, at the centre of the room there were tiny blue paper roses and the attention to detail was evident. The wedding team in the Talbot made our nautical themed wedding happen. They made our vision possible. Our wedding meal and service was exceptional. If you like goats cheese, go for the tartlet for starter. It's amazing.
The staff made every guest feel special and supported those with dietary needs. There was seconds of every dish for all and a firm favourite with the guests was the choice of cocktails. We then had our speeches and subsequently danced the night away. We went to the residents bar and had bacon rolls and bags of cheese and onion crisps. When we finally went to the bridal suite, it was almost bright outside and we were the last two leaving our wedding.
The Talbot staff, the atmosphere, it's strong heritage and constant excellent service was evident at our wedding. There is nothing about the day that we would change. We would only love to do it all over again. Hopefully we will be back for future anniversaries and it's a great place for afternoon tea during the planning process too!

Myself and my husband had our wedding here in November 2021. From the very first moment we saw the place we knew it was for us. Rebecca and the team went above and beyond for us and my family. Between having to postpone because of covid and concerns about restrictions and the many many questions we had planned a wedding, Rebecca was always there. She was understanding, reassuring and so kind. They could not do enough for us and always put our minds at ease. We chose Talbot Suites for our accommodation and had an absolutely stunning corner apartment with beautiful views for the morning pictures. Everything was done with a hundred and ten percent effort. People are still talking about how beautiful the room was, how excellent the food tasted and how friendly the staff were. I wish I could do it all over again.

I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with the Talbot Hotel Wexford. We booked before COVID 19 was a factor, and each step on the way the team were there to support us through. With the ever changing restrictions, Rebecca & Maria were on hand to advise how we were impacted. Any questions we had (there were many) were dealt with professionally and responsively. When our big day finally arrived in the height if Level 5 restrictions, they helped ensure we had the special day every couple deserves. We were delighted to celebrate we a small group of family & friends. From start to finish, food service and accommodation, we cannot recommend the Talbot enough. Thanks to all the team involved in our special day.

When we initially booked our wedding two years ago, we could never have anticipated that we would be getting married in the midst of a global pandemic. Unfortunately, this meant we had to postpone our original June date. Rebecca, the wedding coordinator and all the staff in the Talbot, were so reassuring and made the process of moving our date to October 2020 as stress free as possible. The Trojan work that Rebecca and all the staff did to make our special day happen did not go unnoticed. With all the uncertainty around Covid restrictions, no matter what time of the day or night we had a question either Rebecca or Maria were there to answer it. Our day went ahead with 50 people and I commend and thank all the staff of the Talbot for helping to give us the magical day we dreamed of. No matter the issue, big or small there was someone there to spring into action immediately. The way the room was set up by hotel staff really added to the intimate atmosphere. Our guests were really impressed by the service they received and the fabulous food. We really can't thank Rebecca, Maria and all the staff of the Talbot more. They gave us the day we had dreamed of against all odds and we couldn't be more grateful for all their work and support. We recommend the Talbot Wexford 100% for any prospective brides and grooms. They went above and beyond for us and no doubt they will go above and beyond to give you your special day too!

We couldn't have asked for more from the team at the Talbot. We had to arrange our wedding within 8 weeks due to covid complications and Maria, Rebecca and their team did everything in their power to give us and our families the most special day. The team take all your stress away and there were no issues whatsoever. Our guests felt safe and relaxed the whole time we were there which is so important during these strange times. Anything we asked for, we got. The food and service was outstanding throughout the day. We weren't sure what to expect due to the guidelines but it was the best day of our lives.

The staff at the Talbot were so helpful and friendly from beginning to end - especially Kevin, Maria and Rachel. The venue itself was decorated beautifully by the staff for our big day, they even gave us the option of putting up Christmas decorations early for us! All of our guests loved the food, especially the tayto packs and sausage rolls provided by the hotel at the end of the night! The venue is also located centrally, which our guests really enjoyed the day after the wedding as they could explore Wexford town and enjoy themselves. The wedding packages are such amazing value and give you piece of mind as the hotel cover everything you can think of, from catering to decorating and they even provided a private bar for us on the second night From start to finish our day was perfect, I would highly recommend the Talbot Hotel to anyone planning a wedding.

There are not enough amazing things I could say about our wedding at the Talbot Hotel, from the first time we sat down with Kevin and dealt with the wonderful Maria and Rebecca right up until we checked out they were absolutely fantastic. They pulled out all the stops to help make our day the best day of our lives. From the amazing staff in the hotel to the beautiful food every one of our guests left extremely happy and have all been talking about it since. I would recommend that anybody who wants to get married in a fantastic county like Wexford the Talbot should be top of their list.

My cousin had his wedding reception in the Talbot 8 years ago so when I was getting married this year that was the first venue I was interested in looking at. I had been so impressed by the service of the staff at that wedding and I was not disappointed in the level of service at our wedding. All guests commented on how accommodating the staff were on the day. The food is always the first thing people mention when we talk to them about the wedding. Working with Rebecca in the months, weeks and days coming up to the wedding was simply a pleasure. Every detail was checked, checked and checked again. Rebecca really put our nerves at ease and we knew we didn't have to worry about anything to do with the hotel, everything was in hand. Last minute changes and late night emails were never an issue. On the day, as expected, things did not go according to our time plan and there were no issues with the staff when we asked if we could push things back a little later so we could spend time with our guests upon arriving. As you can imagine, on your wedding day there is so much going on that you can loose track of time but we had our event manager to help us at all times. Checking in at various times of the evening to see if there was anything we wanted, they reminded us to cut the cake, when to come in for the first dance, everything that you expect you will remember yourself but won't. All in all our wedding planning was made very simple thanks to the help from all the staff at the Talbot. If I could do the day all over again I wouldn't change a thing.

From the moment we booked the talbot hotel for our wedding they were fantastic. They were completely focused on exactly what we wanted our day to be. Nothing was too much trouble.
